Welcome 2010

I’ve heard it said that the way you spend New Years Eve is a good indicator of how you will spend the coming year. Well, I am about to spend the majority of the evening babysitting four 12 year old girls, and then heading home just in time to turn on the tv, wish Ryan Seacrest a happy new year and go to bed- alone. So, let’s hope the age old saying doesn’t have much truth to it!
It is indeed a brand new year and I’m ready to embrace new opportunities, new challenges and new situations. Time to trade in my 2 for $1 Family Video rentals (boy, do I love them!) for some new fun adventures!! It seems with each passing year I find my social circle shrinking as friends move away for jobs, get married or just plain fall out of contact.
So despite hating new year’s resolutions, this 2010 I resolve to stop being so lame and rejoin the world I once knew! Follow my journey here and enjoy the ride!
This post is brought to you by the fine folks at Paragon Apartments, offering apartments across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, and the Paragon Patio, where residents connect. We’d love to talk with you on Facebook and Twitter!

I think joining this Paragon group might be a great way to follow that New Years resolution and meet new people. I’m sure your New Year is going to be way more exciting than the celebration. But who knows, maybe that night means that you’ll fall in love with Ryan Seacrest…

Hi Jill: Maybe you can keep the great 2 for a $1 videos and invite some really cool friends over to enjoy them with you.
That will change the way New Year’s begins….i agree with Ashley: joining the Paragon group and The Paragon Patio is a great way to meet new people and bring that New Years resolution to life. Peace

Speaking of…are these 2 for 1 DVDs, or videocassettes?

2 for $1 sounds so ridiculous, it’s hard for me to understand how that could be DVDs!!!
